Self-catering cottage accommodation for up to 4 In the village of Portinscale, near Keswick on Derwentwater

The cottage, which sleeps four in 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin), has its own private parking for one large car or two small cars. There is secure storage for bicycles. At the front of the cottage, which is south facing, is a garden and private patio with garden furniture as well as a terrace with garden chairs.

Entrance to the cottage is through a rear porch (storage for boots and outdoor coats), with kitchen and dining lounge on ground floor. Stairs lead to one double bedroom (king-sized bed) and one twin bedroom, with bathroom leading from the landing. The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, hand-basin and W.C.

Heating is by electric night-store heaters, with the addition of a gas-fire in the lounge for chilly evenings. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, micro-wave oven, dishwashing machine, washing-machine, fridge, freezer, electric kettle and toaster. There are two portable indoor clothes dryers as well as an outdoor rotary dryer.

An information pack is provided which details the abundance of activities and places of interest, also a supply of books, games, DVDs, together with colour T.V. and C.D. player.
